The Save Vilivil Foundation was founded in 2014. The Vilivil council decided to create an organisation that would help protect their native wildlife, when they saw a decline of lizards in their ecosystem. Lizards are an essential creature in the Vilivilian ecosystem because they eat all the pests that threaten the native plants. When the Vilvilians saw a drop in lizard numbers in 2013, they knew something had to be done, and thus the Save Vilivil Foundation was formed.
