Our shop started in the 1920s. Recipes made nearly a century ago have been passed down in our shop. Within the first 20 years in Auckland, "Cakes and Bakes" became a huge success. People buy our cakes for weddings, birthdays, parties, and other events. It is also a tourist food destination. Many people who have visited Auckland have visited Cakes and Bakes.
